Forsaken...and Beyond!

July 29, 2006

MEWL just keeps right on growing and growing. Yesterday the front office called me to firm up my availability for shows running through the rest of the calendar year. That's right: in the always uncertain world of independent professional wrestling, MEWL is expanding so rapidly that they already have shows at the Alliance Armory confirmed for the following dates:

Sept. 16th
Oct. 14th
Nov. 11th
Dec. 9th

And they're working on adding more dates in some new cities! Stay tuned to this site for more info about those shows as we get it.

It would appear that those who bet against MEWL nearly one year ago, choosing instead to side with some other promotion, placed their bets on the wrong horse! Everybody who is anybody in the Northeast Ohio wrestling scene is looking to get on board the MEWL Express, and there will be plenty of big names at our Aug. 5th show at the Alliance Armory, Forsaken.

Jazin Blaze will be there, but who will he wrestle? Will General Manager John Orlando give him another shot at World Champion Justin Diaz, or will Blaze have to go back to the bottom of the ladder?

And Lones Oaks will be there, defending his North American Championship in a threeway bout with Robby Starr and Sherman Tank. Think about that: Starr and Tank were two of the men men in the tournament/fourway match to crown our first North American Champion, and now they'll get another crack at the title but with Lones Oaks thrown into the mix! That's sure to be a four star match!

Oh, and B.E.T. will be there, defending their World Tag Team Titles against Team X, the combination that took their name away from them, and may now get to take their belts as well!

Durty the Clown, Hardcore Champion Otis, Chris Kole, Brandon X and still others will all be at the Alliance Armory on Aug. 5th. What more could a wrestling fan ask for?

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. Former Main Event and Tag Team Champion Shane Sensation will also be in the house, with what I'm told will be a very special announcement for MEWL fans.

Who else will be at the Armory? Well you, I hope! MEWL is rapidly becoming the next big thing. If you've been to one of our shows, you know why. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for? It's not everyday you get the chance to witness the early days of a major wrestling promotion. Folks, this is your chance!
