No Love Lost Aftermath

MEWL kicked off 2007 with a bang in Alliance, OH with "No Love Lost". The title of the show fit well with the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday and the fact that there was "No Love Lost" between the competitors that evening. There was tons of action, a few new faces, and the return of some others to make this show a great start for the year.

We kicked off the show with Lones Oaks defeating T.J. Dynamite in his MEWL debut. The kid showed some promise, but perhaps Lones wasn't a great choice as his first opponent.

Lexi Lane came out next hoping to get her hands on Jessicka Havok, but instead, got Brian Biggs. Biggs seems to use his mouth more than his muscle, and when you combine that with his over inflated ego and sense of self worth...you get a Lexi Lane victory!

Next up we had a three-way match in which Ryan Midnight pulled out the win over The Bouncer and Brian Fury.

Now what would a show titled, "No Love Lost" be without a little love and drama? Well we had plenty of that in store. Matt Mason came to the ring with a box of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers. Matt wanted to profess how much he appreciated the sentiment from Jayme Braxton. Jayme was quick to point out that it wasn't her that set the flowers and candy to Matt but more likely a fan in the audience. Matt then gave the lucky girl in the crowd one opportunity to show herself and she would get to give him a kiss on the cheek. As soon as the music hit, I think we all knew who it was. Justin Diaz and his co-star Richard (Dick for short) Jeremy came to the ring. Let the fun begin I say. We saw lots of action and all of the fun that we used to love with Justin Diaz. In the end, Mason was de-pants and pinned for a Diaz victory!

Next up, Jazin Blaze comes to the ring for a tag match against Unknown and Jason thunder...but it isn't Chris Kole as his partner. It's Shane Sensation. Apparently, Kole was unable to make the show and left Blaze high and dry. Shane Sensation agreed to take Kole's place and the two of them were able to pull out a tough win over Unknown and Thunder.

Wilbur Whitlock has been a thorn in many sides since he returned to MEWL. "The Natural" Christian Vaughn was ready to rid MEWL of Wilbur for good. There aren't words to describe what happened to these two in their match. With No DQ and anything goes, we saw chairs, tables, and blood. In the end, the referee stopped the match when neither man could go on.

In the Main Event, B.E.T. was set to take on Robby Starr, Jeff Cannon, and an opponent of their choosing. However, we learned that Jeff Cannon suffered a knee injury and was unable to compete in the match leaving it at 3 on 1. Out from the back comes Lones Oaks and Christain Vaughn to fill the empty spots for Robby Starr. Perhaps B.E.T. was just too much to handle or perhaps the fact that Oaks and Vaughn had already competed left them a little short on gas and B.E.T. pulls out the win.

Once again, the fans came out, were loud and rowdy, and MEWL delivered another stellar show that we'll keep everyone coming back for more...hopefully on March 3 for "Luck of The Draw"!
