The Luck of the Draw Aftermath

Fans saw one title change hands and a brand new championship come into existence in Alliance on March 25th as MEWL brought another amazing night of action to the Alliance Armory.

Wilbur Whitlock went through Lones Oaks, Christian Vaughn and Robby Starr to come away the first ever North American Champion, in what would have been the highlight of the evening if not for the shocking developments in the main event.

With referee Keith Smith incapacitated, "The Natural" Christian Vaughn came to the ring to, everyone assumed, extract some revenge on "The Pure One" Justin Diaz, who was challenging "Big Guns" Jeff Cannon for the World Title. Instead Vaughn decked Cannon with a chain-wrapped fist to cost the champ the match and his belt.

Then, as though that wasn't sickening enough, Vaughn laid out his former best friend Jazin Blaze, who had come to the ring to question The Natural's actions. Vaughn and Diaz both beat on Blaze, reopening a massive cut he suffered earlier in the evening when Lones Oaks introduced his forehead to the ringpost.

Speaking of Oaks, he came out next and helped clear the ring, and then challenged Diaz, Vaughn and "The Reject" Richard Friar to a six-man tag match at MEWL'S next stop in Alliance on April 29th.

Other matches saw Team X defeat Chris Kole for the Tag Team Championship...in what became a handicap match when Shane Sensation didn't show. Virus defend his Cruiserweight Title against Jason Thunder and "Hot Commodity" Matt Mason get the win over Luis Diamente.
